How to check this certificate

A certificate is only worth what you can verify about it. Three things are worth checking on any report, from us or from anyone else. First, that the batch number on the document matches the number printed on the vial you received, a report for a different batch tells you nothing about yours. Second, that the report names the laboratory and the company that commissioned it, because a certificate reaching you through a vendor has passed through the vendor's hands. Third, that the chromatogram is present and legible rather than a cropped summary figure.

Our guide to reading a peptide COA goes through each section of the report, and what HPLC purity means explains the number everyone quotes.
