What “research grade” should mean
Almost every UK supplier describes their catalogue as research grade and most claim a purity figure. The figure is only worth anything if you can see the document behind it, tied to the batch number on the vial you were sent.
That is the difference we would ask you to check, here or anywhere else. A certificate available “on request” is a different proposition from one published against its batch number before you order. Ours are published in the COA library with the chromatogram and mass-spec identity confirmation intact.
If you are new to reading one, how to read a peptide COA covers what each section of the report actually tells you, and what HPLC purity means explains the number everyone quotes.
